OMG! No one could ever know how long I took to finish it! I thought that I wouldn't make it! Thank you so much for all the people who told me to go on, that I could make it, specially to , who have scanned it and helped with a lot of stuff. And you won't believe, the deadline was today, but I just check her page and she have postponed it to 1st of June! T.T
Ok, ok....
Acrylics on Paper
I chose to draw women because I like them a lot... I mean, I like to DRAW them. hauhauhauha!
Water: It took around 4 hours to do this one! This paper sucks, it's not right for water medium, and I had a really hard time trying to make something good on it. Because I was really late I didn't have the time to change papers, so I decided to deal with that ANYWAY! Water should be calm, soft, with not too many ornaments and beautiful. It's my favourite element, so I had to do her really sweet. Wind: It was the last I painted and she was the most quick, it took around 2 hours, maybe a little more. She is very free, with no many clothes, light, like she is dreaming. I love the way it came out! Earth: This one has taken me around 4 hours to finish. It has a lot of details, many flowers and it has to be gorgeous. I wanted her concentrated, with curly hair and with an Alphonse Mucha's touch. Fire: Inspired by the song "Fire Woman", by The Cult, it took 2 hours to finish painting. She is sexy, very aware that she is a hot lady, she has courage and is challenging.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
